Silver futures prices in India dropped sharply on Friday, reflecting a broader decline in global markets. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for December delivery fell by ₹4,153, or 2.19%, to ₹1,85,300 per kilogram. The decline came amid reduced trading activity, with a total business turnover of 3,944 lots.

Analysts attributed the drop to a sell-off by market participants, which weighed heavily on silver prices. The downward trend was also evident in international markets, where silver was trading 2.59% lower at $50.80 per ounce in New York.
