Silver Futures Drop to Rs 2.25 Lakh/kg on MCX
Silver futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) dropped by Rs 466 to Rs 2,25,621 per kilogram on Tuesday. The decline was seen in December delivery contracts, which witnessed a 0.21% decrease in value. Analysts pointed to a sell-off by market participants as the primary reason behind the price fall.
The trading volume for silver futures was reported at 1,938 lots. Meanwhile, global silver prices also experienced a downturn, falling by 0.65% in New York, where the metal was trading at USD 60.67 per ounce.
