Silver Futures Fall as Market Bets Are Trimmed

Silver futures experienced a decline in value on August 14th, as market participants reduced their bets. The silver price fell by Rs 836 to Rs 2,36,999 per kilogram in futures trade.

The September delivery contracts for silver declined by 0.35% in 857 lots. Analysts attributed the sell-off by participants as the main factor weighing on silver prices.

Globally, the white metal was trading up by 0.18% at $65.44 per ounce in New York.
