Silver prices on Monday fell by ₹2,024 to ₹2,39,579 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.

The decline of 0.84% was seen on the Multi Commodity Exchange, where silver contracts for December delivery were traded in a business turnover of 2,096 lots.

Analysts pointed out that a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices, with the white metal trading 0.20% down at $66.12 per ounce in New York.
