Silver Price Breaks Above $65 as US Dollar Rally Hits Pause
The price of Silver (XAG/USD) has reclaimed $65.00 as the US Dollar's rally and Treasury Yields seem to have paused, allowing Silver to strengthen.
At press time, the US Dollar Index (DXY) is trading near 101.05, down 0.2% from its previous value, while 10-year US Treasury Yields have corrected slightly from their 19-year high of 5.22% to around 5.15%.
A correction in yields on interest-bearing assets typically leads to an increase in the appeal of non-yielding assets such as Silver, making it a favorable risk-reward bet for investors when the Dollar is weak.
