Silver Price Rises Amid Volatility in India
The price of silver in India has been on an upward trend due to continuous buying by investors and industries. As per recent data, the price of silver per gram is ₹250, ₹2,500 for 10 grams, ₹25,000 for 100 grams, and ₹2,50,000 per kg.
The prices have seen a significant increase in August, with an 8.51% rise from ₹2.35 lakh to ₹2.55 lakh per kg. However, September has been more mixed, with the metal touching a monthly high of ₹2.55 lakh per kg on September 10 and a low of ₹2.45 lakh on September 2.
Despite the volatility in the short-term range of ₹2.45 lakh to ₹2.55 lakh in September, the price of silver has recovered to ₹2.50 lakh per kg as of September 18. The recovery is attributed to the fact that international prices for precious metals and rupee-to-dollar rates continue to be important factors for Indian prices.
