Silver Prices in India Steady at ₹2,400 Amid Flat Session
The price of silver in India remained steady on Tuesday at ₹2,400 per 10 grams, marking the first flat session after Monday's ₹50 fall. The national rate has been largely determined by international prices, which can cause rates to fluctuate throughout the day.
Silver prices in seven major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad, remained unchanged from Monday's levels at ₹2,400 per 10 grams. The three southern markets of Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kerala eased by a rupee each to ₹2,449 from ₹2,450.
Retail buyers have continued to view silver as a lower-cost entry point into precious metals due to its smaller price compared to gold. Investors can consider Silver ETFs, which track the metal's price without requiring physical delivery or storage.
