Silver Prices Plummet as Domestic Bets Dry Up
Silver futures declined on Friday due to reduced bets by participants in the market. The prices fell by Rs 851 to Rs 2,34,596 per kilogram for September delivery contracts. This decline accounted for a 0.36% decrease in value.
According to analysts, the main reason behind this sell-off was the reduction in bets by participants. Despite the global silver market showing a slight increase of 0.29%, trading at $64.67 per ounce in New York, domestic prices took a hit.
