Silver Prices Rebound in India Amid Geopolitical Tensions
Silver prices in India rebounded on Monday, July 27, after losing ground the previous day. The price per 10 grams climbed to Rs 2,400 from Friday's close of Rs 2,350, a rise of Rs 50 per 10 grams.
The increase was attributed to fresh safe-haven demand, as tensions between Iran and the US continued, with crude oil prices hovering above $91 per barrel. Silver prices in India are also influenced by international prices, which can fluctuate throughout the day.
Analysts noted that silver has seen steady demand from industrial sectors such as electronics and solar photovoltaic this month, with traders buying up the metal at every dip. Dealers expect gold and silver to trade based on geopolitical developments in West Asia and comments from the US Federal Reserve this week.
