Silver Prices Rise Amid Fed Pressure
The world silver price started the new trading week on a positive note, despite ongoing pressure from the Federal Reserve.
According to records at 8:50 am on September 21 (Vietnam time), world silver prices increased by 0.75%, reaching $66.62 per ounce.
The price rise follows the precious metal's recovery momentum in the previous session, despite the high interest rate environment.
The market is experiencing a tug-of-war between two groups of factors: on one hand, US bond yields and expectations of tight monetary policy are putting pressure on precious metals; on the other hand, concerns about inflation, geopolitical instability, and asset safe-haven demand are creating support for silver prices.
