Silver Prices Spike 0.53% Amid Firm Global Trend

Silver prices rose sharply on Wednesday amid a firm global trend.

The futures trade saw silver surge by 0.53% to Rs 2.45 lakh per kg for September delivery, driven by fresh positions and overseas market trends.

In the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for September delivery increased by Rs 1,284 or 0.53% to Rs 2,45,411 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,093 lots.

The overseas market also saw silver futures rise 0.73% to USD 69.16 per ounce.
