Silver Prices Split Across Indian Cities Amid National Decline
Silver prices in India have dropped to Rs 2,350 per 10 grams on Thursday morning, down from yesterday's rate of Rs 2,400. This represents a decline of around 2.08% and is reflected across most cities, except for Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kerala, which are at a premium with rates at Rs 2,450 per 10 grams.
The national silver price has dropped by Rs 50 per 10 grams, while these three South Indian cities have seen an increase of Rs 50. This development marks the end of Wednesday's one-day streak where all cities had the same rate.
The disparity in prices between different cities is significant, with a difference of Rs 1,000 for every 100 grams. Silver demand remains steady ahead of the festive season, and customers are still in wait-and-watch mode before making any purchases.
