Silver Prices Surge 1.58% to $63.96 Amid Yearly Decline

Silver prices rose on September 17, according to FXStreet data. The precious metal traded at $63.96 per troy ounce, a gain of 1.58% from its value on Wednesday.

This increase comes after a decrease of 10.02% in silver prices since the beginning of the year.

The Gold/Silver ratio, which shows the number of ounces of Silver needed to equal the value of one ounce of Gold, stood at 67.40 on Thursday, down from 67.71 on Wednesday.
