This increase marks a contrast with the year's performance, as silver has decreased by 0.94% since the beginning of the year.
The Gold/Silver ratio, which indicates the number of ounces of Silver needed to equal the value of one ounce of Gold, stood at 65.38 on Friday, down from 66.44 on Thursday.
