Silver Surges Past $58 as Platinum Falters
Silver has broken through the $58.00 per ounce mark, currently trading at $58.01/oz.
This represents a significant increase of 1.62% on the day for spot silver, while the main COMEX silver futures contract is up 1.27% to $58.26/oz.
In contrast, platinum has slipped below its previous level, trading at $1,600.05/oz after a slight drop of 0.28% on the day. The Nymex platinum futures main contract is down 1.03% to $1,606.5/oz.
