Silver Surges Past $67 Amid Oil Price Drop

Silver prices rose for the third consecutive session on Monday, reaching around $67 an ounce. This increase in silver was largely due to a decrease in oil prices, which eased concerns over rising inflation and potential interest rate hikes.

Oil prices have been falling for four straight sessions, partly due to increased diplomatic efforts to resolve the Middle East conflict and restore energy flows from the region.

President Donald Trump indicated he would consider meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian at the United Nations General Assembly this week. Additionally, Federal Reserve officials will be making appearances this week, following last week's interest rate hike for the first time in three years.
