Silver Surges to ₹2.29 Lakh as Gold Hits ₹1.52 Lakh Amid Interest Rate Uncertainty
Silver prices have surged to ₹2.29 lakh per kilogram, a rise of ₹2,418 from previous levels, according to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA).
Gold prices have also increased, with a 10-gram unit of 24-carat gold now priced at ₹1.52 lakh, up by ₹992.
The current prices represent an increase of ₹19,000 this year alone, with gold reaching an all-time high of ₹1.76 lakh and silver hitting ₹3.86 lakh on January 29th.
Market experts predict that gold and silver prices may continue to fluctuate until there is clarity on interest rates following the US Federal Reserve meeting.
