Six-Day Losing Streak: Crude Oil Falls as Metals Mostly Decline
Crude oil prices have been falling for six consecutive days, and metals are mostly down in the domestic market. According to the Shanghai Metals Market's midday report, SHFE copper fell by 0.26%, while aluminum edged down.
The most-traded casting aluminum futures contract rose by 0.47%, but the most-traded alumina contract fell by 0.77%. Lithium carbonate prices dropped by over 3% and coking coal fell by more than 1%.
In overseas markets, LME copper prices fell by 0.87%, while LME aluminum declined by 0.4%. However, SHFE nickel rose by 1.24%, bucking the trend.
