SLB Lands Major Deal with Aramco, to Manage Over 450 Oil & Gas Wells

SLB, a U.S.-headquartered technology player, has secured four integrated well construction contracts with Saudi Arabia's energy giant Aramco. This significant deal will see SLB manage end-to-end well construction services for more than 450 wells across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over a three-year term.

The optional extension of up to two years for each contract could potentially double the number of wells under SLB's management.

Steve Gassen, Executive Vice President of Geographies for SLB, commented on the deal: 'Delivering hundreds of wells across a multi-year program and in multiple operating environments requires an integrated model that connects planning, execution, and digital workflows to set new industry performance benchmarks.'
