SLB OneSubsea Lands Contract for Mozambique's Rovuma LNG Project

SLB OneSubsea has secured a contract with ExxonMobil for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) development in Mozambique. The company will provide subsea production systems, including trees, manifolds, umbilicals, and associated control systems, to support efficient production from the Rovuma deepwater field.

The contract is for the first phase of the project, which includes 18 subsea wells connected by a network of subsea pipelines and manifolds. The planned production capacity is 18.6 million tons of LNG per year.

SLB OneSubsea will provide engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation services for the project. To support the development of regional supply chains, the company plans to establish a services base in Mozambique.

The award reflects SLB OneSubsea's ability to deliver integrated subsea solutions that help customers accelerate development and maximize value from deepwater resources. This is according to Mads Hjelmeland, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SLB OneSubsea.
