SLB Wins Four Aramco Contracts for Over 450 Wells
SLB has won four contracts from Aramco to manage over 450 wells across three years, expanding its long-standing work in Saudi Arabia. The integrated well construction contracts will cover oil and gas reservoirs and combine digital drilling workflows with automated processes.
The awards come after SLB's quarterly revenue fell seven percent to $2.742 billion, but the company did not provide a contract value or price per well for the Saudi program. Aramco can extend each contract for up to two years, potentially taking the term to five years.
SLB executive vice-president of geographies Steve Gassen said that delivering hundreds of wells across multiple operating environments requires an integrated model that connects planning, execution, and digital workflows. The company will manage the Saudi work from planning through well delivery.
