SNT Energy has completed the supply of core equipment worth ₩72.2 billion (approximately $52.2 million) to South Korea's first coal-to-LNG conversion plant, the Gumi Natural Gas Power Plant.

The company received an order from Korea Western Power in February 2023 for heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and related auxiliary equipment valued at ₩72.2 billion.

The HRSGs supplied by SNT Energy are central to the combined cycle efficiency of the plant, which is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by nearly half compared to coal-fired generation.

An SNT Energy representative stated, 'With this HRSG supply, we have demonstrated our technical capabilities and comprehensive project execution competence in the HRSG sector linked to high-efficiency large gas turbines.'
