US gas producer Comstock Resources has entered into a framework agreement with Azerbaijan's energy firm Socar. The deal, worth $1.65 billion, involves Socar's investment in Comstock's Haynesville shale assets. This is part of the previously announced strategic partnership between the two companies.
The agreement also grants access to US Gulf Coast LNG facilities for Comstock.
