Sound Agriculture Unveils INFLECT, a Yield-Boosting Solution for High-Ammonium Corn Acres

Sound Agriculture has launched INFLECT, a seed-applied biological solution designed to protect yields on high-ammonium corn acres.

The product combines two bacterial strains and an endophytic fungal strain to help growers unlock more of the nitrogen they've already applied, supporting early vigor, uniform stands, and stronger performance under stress.

INFLECT delivered a +6.0 bu/ac average yield gain and a 92% win rate in trials across 12 locations in Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri in 2025.

The solution aims to address the issue of high-ammonium fertility practices, which can acidify soil and suppress sensitive microbes, leading to weakened root systems and reduced resilience to stress.
