South Korea Dismisses Trump's Claims on LNG Project Investments
South Korean authorities have tempered US President Donald Trump's announcements about potential investments in an LNG project in Alaska. According to AFP, Seoul's reaction is cautious regarding the commitments presented by the White House leader.
Trump announced that South Korea would be investing in a liquefied natural gas project in Alaska, but South Korean authorities have not confirmed the scale or firm nature of these investments.
The LNG project aims to develop infrastructure for the production and export of liquefied natural gas. LNG is obtained by cooling natural gas until it liquefies, allowing it to be transported by sea to foreign markets.
