Soybean Complex Falls Amid Profit-Taking Pressure

The agricultural futures market saw significant losses on July 29, 2026, according to Pro Farmer's After the Bell report. The soybean complex was hit particularly hard, with November soybeans falling 27 1/4 cents to $11.92 3/4, a two-week low.

The corn futures market also experienced profit-taking pressure and weak long liquidation, with December corn losing 8 3/4 cents to $4.71 3/4. The bulls in the corn market are losing steam as their price uptrend on the daily chart is now in jeopardy.

Weather forecasts for the far western Corn Belt have improved, calling for better rain chances over the next couple weeks. However, this may not be enough to stem the losses in the soybean complex, which also saw heavy profit-taking and weak long liquidation today.
