Global soybean oil production is set to rise in the upcoming season, according to Oil World's latest forecast. The organization predicts that global soybean oil production could reach 71 million tons in the 2025/26 season, a significant increase of 2.5 million tons from the previous season.

The growth in production is largely driven by stronger soybean processing in key producing countries such as the US and Brazil. Both countries are expected to see an increase of around 0.7-0.8 million tons each, while China is forecast to raise output by at least 0.6 million tons.

India remains the world's largest importer of soybean oil, with a projected purchase of around 5.4 million tons this season. The country's share of global imports is expected to remain at around 35%, maintaining its position as the key buyer in the global soybean oil market.
