Soybeans Outpace Corn and Wheat in Latest USDA Grain Price Data
According to the latest USDA AgTransport system data, soybeans led the commodity totals in cash grain bids for the reporting period dated September 25, 2026. The dataset places soybeans at the top with an aggregate bid total of $179.01, followed by corn at $69.46.
Among wheat classes, hard red winter wheat recorded a total of $51.12, while hard red spring wheat and soft red winter wheat came in lower at $37.38 and $14.59 respectively.
The highest individual soybean bid was found in the Gulf Louisiana market under the 30-day-to-arrive category at $14.01, sourced from USDA AMS Market News Report JO_GR850 and U.S. Wheat Associates price reports.
For corn bids, the Gulf Louisiana market also led with a total of $5.91 on a 30-day-to-arrive basis.
