Stade FLNG Terminal Set for Commissioning in November

The floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) import terminal in Stade is set to commission cargo from November, providing a boost to Germany's energy supply security this winter. The Energos Force floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) is expected to arrive in Stade this month.

Stade, located on the river Elbe near Hamburg, marks Germany's fifth LNG import terminal. It will be managed and operated by Deutsche Energy Terminal.
