Storage Highs Don't Equal Price Drops for Midwest Natural Gas

Midwest natural gas storage levels are at comfortable highs, but winter prices continue to tell a different story. According to Natural Gas Intelligence, Entropic Analytics' platform has revealed that despite ample storage, natural gas prices remain high due to various factors.

The data shows that pipeline flow data and bidweek product suite insights indicate that while storage is plentiful, it's not translating into lower prices. The platform provides first-of-month natural gas pricing, data, and market insights, as well as daily price indexes, market insights, data, and more.

Entropic Analytics' forward curve prices of natural gas in North America also show a disconnect between storage levels and winter prices. The company's Mexico product suite offers pricing, fundamentals, analysis, data, and news for the region.
