A new study by Stormlands Mining has significantly boosted the net present value (NPV) of Mithril Silver and Gold's Copalquin gold-silver property in Durango, Mexico. The NPV rose to $613.5 million after applying current gold and silver prices to its April mineral resource estimate.

Copalquin is a 70-square-kilometre mining district in northwestern Mexico with several dozen historic gold and silver mines. According to Róisín O'Connell, Stormlands' co-founder and CEO, the property's latest resource estimate already incorporates practical underground mining constraints, providing a stronger basis for preliminary economic modelling.

The model shows strong margins under current commodity prices but also highlights the project's sensitivity to gold pricing. The base model produced an NPV of $396.3 million at a 5% discount rate before applying higher metal prices, which increased the valuation by almost 55%. This raised projected life-of-mine revenue to about $1.79 billion from $1.35 billion.
