Syria Gold Prices Rise as Global Market Remains Stable

The price of gold has edged higher in Syria's market, according to the latest bulletin from the General Authority for Precious Metals Management. The authority reported that a gram of 21-karat gold now sells for 15,950 Syrian pounds and can be purchased for 15,650 pounds.

This represents a rise of 50 Syrian pounds compared to earlier in the day, when the price was stable at Monday's level. A gram of 18-karat gold is currently priced at 13,750 Syrian pounds for sale and 13,450 pounds for purchase.

The global market price of an ounce of gold stands at $4,373.
