Syrian Gold Prices Drop by 100 Pounds Amid International Decline

The price of gold in the local Syrian market has seen a decline. According to the General Directorate for Precious Metals Management, a gram of 21-karat gold now costs 16,150 Syrian pounds for selling and 15,850 pounds for buying.

This decrease comes after Thursday's price, with the value of gold falling by 100 Syrian pounds in total.

The prices for 18-karat gold are also lower, at 13,800 pounds for selling and 13,500 pounds for buying. The international market also sets a benchmark for these prices, with gold priced at $4,143 per ounce.
