Syrian Gold Prices Hold Steady Over Weekend
The General Authority for Precious Metals Management has released an update on gold prices in Syria. The report notes that gold prices remained stable in the Syrian market over the weekend, with no significant changes compared to the previous day.
The selling price of 21-karat gold was pegged at 16,550 Syrian pounds per gram, while the buying price stood at 16,250 Syrian pounds per gram. For 18-karat gold, the selling price was 14,150 Syrian pounds per gram, and the buying price was 13,850 Syrian pounds per gram.
The authority's bulletin also included international gold prices, which were reported to be $4,378 an ounce.
