Syrian Gold Prices Rise Ahead of Key US Inflation Data
The price of gold in Syria has increased as investors await US inflation data. The General Authority for Precious Metals Management reported that the selling price of 21-karat gold rose by SYP 50 per gram on Wednesday, reaching SYP 16,300 ($133.61) per gram.
The buying price stood at SYP 16,000 ($131.15), while the international price of gold was set at $4,192 per ounce.
In global markets, spot gold rose 0.4% to $4,192.58 per ounce on Wednesday, with US gold futures climbing 1.1% to $4,227.50, according to Reuters.
