Syria's Gold Prices Hold Steady Amid International Fluctuations

The price of gold in Syria's market remained unchanged on August 15th from Thursday's level, according to a bulletin by the General Authority for Precious Metals Management. The authority reported that 21-karat gold was priced at 16,000 Syrian pounds per gram for selling and 15,700 pounds for buying. A gram of 18-karat gold was valued at 13,700 pounds for selling and 13,400 pounds for buying. This pricing comes after the international gold price stood at $4,376 per ounce.
