Tajikistan Oil and Gas Production Sees Yearly Decline Amid Monthly Gains

Tajikistan's crude oil and natural gas production declined by 38.1% year-on-year from January through July 2026, according to data released by the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The cumulative output for the seven-month period was 36.6 million somoni ($3.97 million), a significant drop compared to the same period in 2025 when it doubled year-on-year.

However, July's production showed an increase of 20% compared to the same month in 2025, with output reaching 4.4 million somoni ($477,000).
