Talisker's Bralorne Gold Project PEA Shows Strong Economic Potential
Talisker Resources Ltd., an exploration and development company, has released its Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada.
The PEA, prepared by SGS Geological Services, highlights a significant gold resource with 206,300 ounces of contained gold at a grade of 8.91 g/t Au.
At a base-case gold price of US$3,500/oz and exchange rate of US$:C$1.35, the PEA shows an after-tax Net Present Value (NPV)5% of C$1.048 million and internal rate of return (IRR) of 31.3%. This translates to a payback period from commercial production of approximately 2.1 years.
The project is expected to produce an average of 110,000 ounces of gold per year over its 14-year life-of-mine, with doré smelted on site. The PEA assumes initial capital expenditures of C$416 million and sustaining capital of C$782 million.
