Tamboran Resources Corporation has achieved an important milestone in the Beetaloo Basin project by delivering its first gas sales to the Northern Territory's market. The Shenandoah South Pilot Project, a joint venture with Daly Waters Energy, LP (DWE), started commissioning phase over the weekend.

The company expects to ramp up production to 40 terajoules per day (TJ/d) by early 2027, meeting its contracted commitment to the Northern Territory Government under a long-term take-or-pay agreement. During this period, Tamboran and DWE will receive a discounted gas price due to the interruptible nature of supply.

Tamboran CEO Todd Abbott expressed his gratitude to stakeholders for their hard work in making this milestone possible. He emphasized that this is an essential step towards establishing the Beetaloo Basin as a reliable source of natural gas, not only for the Northern Territory but also for the broader Australian East Coast market over time.
