Tantita Security Services Leads Effort to Secure Nigeria's Oil Assets

Nigeria's oil production has seen significant improvement in recent years, thanks to the efforts of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL). According to industry statistics, oil theft has dropped by 79 per cent since 2022. This feat was achieved through the use of technology and deployment of personnel in monitoring oil pipelines and other assets.

Data from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) shows that crude and condensate production reached 1,677,777 barrels per day in August 2026, with crude alone at 1,500,190 barrels per day. This is enough to meet the country's OPEC quota of 1.5 million barrels daily for a fourth straight month.

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has been instrumental in securing Nigeria's oil assets. The company ensures that oil assets are protected and production quotas are met. With over 80 per cent of Nigeria's foreign exchange coming from crude oil export, it is crucial to ensure continuous flow of dollar revenue to national coffers.
