Tanzania Bolsters Fuel Supply Chain Amid Industry Challenges
The Tanzanian government has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring an adequate supply of fuel throughout the country. Minister for Energy Juma Homera emphasized the importance of cooperation between the government and industry stakeholders, including petroleum importers and distributors.
During a meeting with leaders and members of The Tanzania Association of Oil Marketing Companies (TAOMAC), Homera highlighted the need for improved communication and coordination to address challenges affecting the sector.
The minister stated that closer collaboration between government agencies and industry players would improve efficiency in the petroleum supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of fuel to all parts of the country. This, he noted, would support both economic and social activities.
