Tanzania's Mining Commission has released new indicative mineral prices for September 26, 2026. Gold is quoted at more than TZS367,000 per gram on the world market, while silver and copper are priced significantly lower.

The commission's latest price bulletin shows the world market price for gold standing at USD4,301.20 per troy ounce, equivalent to TZS367,759.62 per gram. The indicative mineral market price for gold is set at TZS330,983.66 per gram, with the buying centre price at TZS323,628.46 per gram.
