TAQA Arabia has launched its $70 million gas pipeline project in Jordan, aimed at supplying natural gas to the Al-Rawdah Industrial City in the Ma'an Development Area. The 14-kilometer pipeline is part of two projects supported by funding from the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).

The project, which marks a strategic milestone for Jordan's industrial and energy sectors, is expected to reduce energy costs for industries in the area by 35% to 50%. TAQA Arabia secured the project after establishing a branch in Jordan in August 2026. Tarek El-Hawary, Managing Director of TAQA Gas, stated that the company would maintain quality and safety standards throughout construction.

The project is projected to be completed within 18 months, providing manufacturers with a reliable natural gas supply.
