Taseko Mines Sees Strong Q2 on Copper Price Tailwinds and Florence Ramp-Up
Taseko Mines reported strong second-quarter 2026 revenues of $331 million, driven by consolidated sales of 37.5 million pounds of copper and 575 thousand pounds of molybdenum. This resulted in Adjusted EBITDA of $125 million and Adjusted net income of $40 million.
The company's strong copper production was thanks to a combination of high copper prices and increased output at Gibraltar, as well as the first full quarter of production at Florence Copper. Consolidated copper production reached 36 million pounds, an 80% year-on-year increase.
Gibraltar produced 30.3 million pounds of copper at a C1 operating cost of US$2.41 per pound, while Florence delivered 5.2 million pounds of copper. Management highlighted the company's operating cash flow of $183.4 million as evidence of its leverage to copper prices.
