Taylor's Fuel Price Relief Plan Hinges on Crude Oil Threshold

Opposition Leader Angus Taylor has unveiled a plan to ease the financial burden on Australians struggling with rising fuel prices. The proposal aims to halve the fuel excise when Brent crude oil stays above $100 USD per barrel for two weeks, resulting in a savings of approximately 27 cents per liter.

The fuel excise is currently set at 44.2 cents per liter, and Taylor's plan would reduce this to around 17.2 cents if the proposed condition is met.
