Tech Stocks Boost Wall Street as WTI Crude Drops

US stock markets saw gains on Monday, with tech stocks leading the charge. The Nasdaq Composite index surged by 286 points, or 1.05%, closing at 27,477 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also rose, adding 91 points, or 0.18%, to finish at 51,268 points. The S&P 500 index followed suit, advancing 51 points, or 0.67%, to reach 7,774 points.

Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil prices experienced a decline, dropping by approximately $2 to settle at $89.18 per barrel. This decline contrasted with the upward trend seen in the stock markets.
