Technip Energies Wins FEED Contract for Malaysian LNG Regasification Terminal

Techip Energies has been awarded a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for the Yan Offshore Regasification Terminal project in Kedah, northwest Malaysia.

The proposed terminal is designed to have a capacity of 6 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) and will incorporate an offshore floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), marine infrastructure, a subsea gas pipeline, and an onshore receiving facility.

The project is intended to establish a new LNG entry point in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia, expanding the country's natural gas import and regasification infrastructure.
