The US and Iran's pause in hostilities sent ripples through global markets, as oil prices dropped and Wall Street stocks traded mixed.
The S&P 500 rose less than 0.1% to close at 7,413.18, following two consecutive weekly losses.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 0.5%, while the Nasdaq composite fell 0.2%, its fourth straight decline.
Brent crude prices plummeted 6.3% to settle at $85.87 a barrel for October delivery, after reaching over $100 a barrel last week due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.
