Texas Bombers Claim AFCS 14U Nationals Title at Westfield/Kokomo
The AFCS 14U Nationals concluded its week-long tournament at Westfield/Kokomo, Indiana. Texas Bombers Gold-Malpass took home the Tier 1 Alliance national championship title after a series of matches.
The top three teams in the 14U Tier 1 Alliance standings were led by Texas Bombers Gold-Malpass, followed closely by Athletics Mercado 2029-Christie/Zito and Firecrackers National-Piconke. Rounding out the top five were Impact Gold National 2029-Holmes and Wisconsin Lightning 2029/30/Sturino.
In the 14U Tier 2 Alliance, Bombers Gold SETX Futures claimed the national championship title, placing first in the standings. Indiana Magic Gold 2030 Futures-Rogers/Fritsche took second place, with Newtown Rock National-Gizzi and Bombers Gold Futures rounding out the top five.
The AFCS tournament is an annual event that brings together the best young softball players from across the country to compete in a series of matches. The event provides a platform for teams to showcase their skills and determination, as well as an opportunity for players to learn from experienced coaches and trainers.
