Tinubu Reforms Boost Nigerian Oil Output by 80%
Nigeria's crude oil production has increased by more than 80% since President Bola Tinubu's administration took office in 2023, according to Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri.
Lokpobiri stated that Nigeria was producing less than one million barrels per day when Tinubu assumed office but has now risen to 1.824 million barrels per day, including condensate.
The minister attributed the increase in production to reforms introduced by the administration and the concerted efforts of stakeholders in the oil and gas industry.
